Linguistic means of “indignation” tactic implementation in the “justification” speech genre (based on the German colloquial discourse)

The article focuses on one of the basic speech tactics – “indignation” – in the “justification” speech genre within the confrontational strategy. The study establishes the linguistic means which are typical for the “indignation” tactic. The author comes to the conclusion that the “indignation” tactic is a bilateral phenomenon, which has two communicative goals: to justify himself/herself and to create an emotional impact on the communicative partner.
