Efficiency of agricultural market as a factor of ensuring food security of the region

In the context of the policy of import substitution, the issues of effective development of agri-food markets and ensuring food security are of particular relevance. The essence of the concept of “agri-food market” is studied in the article, the necessity of ensuring food security in the regional aspect is substantiated. The agri-food market of the Magadan region was studied, its structure was determined, the characteristics of the market, sources and degree of saturation were given, the provision of the population with products manufactured in the region was determined.
