Efficiency of the European Court of Human Rights in the context of changes to the Federal constitutional law "On the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation"

The author of this article considers how the changes that were made to the Federal Constitutional Law “On the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation” influenced the activities of the European Court of Human Rights in the Russian Federation. It is suggested that because of the aggravation of relations between the Russian Federation and the Council of Europe, the opportunity to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights will be lost.
