Efficiency of financial instruments of state support of alternative energy in the regions of the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the analysis of the involvement of Russia and its individual regions, in particular, in the support and development of generation based on renewable energy sources (hereinafter - RES). The current situation of renewable energy generation in different regions of Russia is considered, and the prospects for their further development are assessed. The article discusses the growth rates of renewable energy generation in Russia, and how these rates were affected by the current state support. The author evaluates the effectiveness of current financial instruments to support alternative energy in Russia, and also suggests measures to stimulate them, taking into account the current macroeconomic situation, both in Russia and in the world.
