Efficacy of immunoactive preparation polyoxidonia combined with enterosorption in correction of immune and biochemical indices in patients with paranoid schizophrenia with therapeutic resistance

It is examined two groups of patients with treatment-resistant paranoid schizophrenia (PS): the main (65 patients, in addition immunocorrection preparates - polyioxidonium and enterosorbents) and group of comparison (57 patients, got generally accepted treatment). Study the immunological tests (numeros of T-, B-lymphocytes, subpopulations of T-helpers and T-supressors, phagocyte monocytes activity, concentration of circulating immune complexes in blood and their molecular composition) and biochemical tests (concentration of malone dialdegid, dien conjgates, «average molecules»; activity of catalase and superoxyddismutase). It is stated that using of combination of polyoxidonium and enterosorbents promotes to normalization immunological tests in the patients with treatment-resistant PS.
