The Chernobyl emergency accident workers were examined at the department of Radiation Medicine of Russian Scientific Centre of radiology and nuclear medicine. The patients were divided into two groups, according to radiation dose they got: 20 cGy. In the group with dose > 20 cGy the top disease was circulatory encephalopathy. In the group with dose 20 cGy have normal systolic and diastolic blood pressure after treatment (treatment efficiency - 40 and 60 % respectively). Improvement of vegetative nervous system tone was observed after treatment in 80 % of emergency accident workers with radiation > 20 cGy (р=0.05); improvement of parasympathetic tone of autonomous was observed in 80 % emergency accident workers with dose > 5 cGy. Ageing slowing down was observed in 60 % of patients in both groups. Anxiety was observed two times more frequently in emergency accident workers with doses > 5 cGy (р=0.1).
