This article is devoted to determining the effectiveness of merchandising in a trading network as one of the most important tools to increase the profit of the supplier company and the trading network itself. The author has identified the criteria for determining the effectiveness, as well as the rules that must be observed to obtain a positive effect. The necessity of using merchandising in the future is grounded.
