The effectiveness of the activities of the control and accounting chamber of the city of Smolensk

This article contains an analysis and proposals for the development of the effectiveness of the implementation of activities by the Control and Accounts Chamber of the city of Smolensk, carried out on the basis of the final (annual) indicators, expressed in the criteria of effectiveness, efficiency and economy. The content of this article allows us to consider the process of consistent methodological assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of external municipal financial control, which is carried out by the Chamber of Control and Accounts as an external financial control body in the municipality.These measures should be determined by the integrity of the system, within which a new system of views and state thinking is needed, a new institutional structure: legal, organizational, methodological, informational, communicative space, both within the system of external financial control and in the interdepartmental space
