Efficiency of preparation eglonil in patients with duodenal ulcer complicated by co-morbid anxiety-depressive disorders

Research objective was studying of clinical efficiency of preparation Eglonil in patients with duodenal ulcer against the background of traditional therapy. 60 patients with duodenal ulcer, complicated by co-morbid anxiety-depressive disorders at exacerbation stage are surveyed. In group 1 (30 patients) gainst the traditional therapy including eradication of Helicobacter pylori, by day 8 of treatment we added neuroleptic Eglonil at dose of 200 mg twice a day, duration of 3 weeks. In control group (30 patients) traditional therapy was used only. During application of Eglonil in basic therapy of duodenal ulcer complicated by co-morbid anxiety-depressive syndrome we noticed early stopping of pain syndrome and reduction of terms of scarring of duodenal ulcers, normalization of anxiety-depressive disorders, improvement of quality of life of patients
