The effectiveness of artificial intelligence in collaborative learning

Бесплатный доступ

The article analyzes the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance collaborative learning. It identifies six key mechanisms of AI's impact, including personalized assessment, real-time feedback, group formation, and facilitation of collaborative work. Collaborative learning using AI faces a number of limitations that must be taken into account for its responsible implementation, including technical and infrastructural barriers, pedagogical risks, ethical challenges, and socio-psychological aspects. The prospects for integrating AI into collaborative learning are associated with a transition to intelligent educational ecosystems, including adaptive collaboration systems, generative AI as an equal participant, metacognitive support, immersive environments, and overcoming language barriers. Thus, the article emphasizes the need for a balanced approach to AI integration, in which technological innovations enhance, rather than replace, human interaction, which is a key condition for the sustainable development of collaborative educational practices in the era of digital transformation.
