The purpose of the research is to conduct an agronomic, energy and economic assessment of the use of nitrogen fertilizing in the cultivation of various varieties of spring wheat. The research was conducted at the Omsk State Agrarian University in 2018-2020. The soil is meadow-chernozem thin medium-humus heavy loamy. The use of nitrogen fertilizing in the cultivation of spring wheat varieties is effective. Foliar top dressing N30 and N10 + N30 against the background without the main addition were 0.29 and 0.40 t/ha respectively for the variety Stolypinskaya 2 (control - 4.29 t/ha); in the Element 22 variety - 0.31 and 0.38 t/ha (3.52 t/ha); in OmGAU 90 - 0.31 and 0.39 t/ha (4.30 t/ha). Against the background of N128P95, the increase in yield from nitrogen fertilizing was 0.25 and 0.30 t/ha for Stolypinskaya 2 variety (background - 5.29 t/ha); 0.16 and 0.15 t/ha for Element 22 variety (4.40 t/ha); 0.06 and 0.09 t/ha for OmGAU 90 (5.21 t/ha). This technique, against the background of N128P95, significantly increased the yield of only the Stolypinskaya 2 variety. From an energy point of view, the use of mineral fertilizers in the cultivation of spring wheat was effective in variants with foliarfertilizing against a background without fertilizers, since the efficiency was always greater than 1: when fertilizing the Stolypinskaya 2 variety, it was 1.40-1.85; Element 22 variety - 1.34-2.63; variety of OmGAU 90 - 1.37-1.63. Against the background of N128P95, the use of top dressing was energetically effective only when cultivating the Stolypinskaya 2 variety (efficiency 1.09-1.74). The most profitable fertilizer was Stolypinskaya 2 in variants N30 and N10 + N30 (149.7 and 169.6%, respectively) with foliar top dressing in the tillering and booting phases against a natural background.
