In broiler poultry farming, an urgent task is the search and production testing of innovative feed additives that stimulate poultry productivity and have a positive effect on its health and safety. To maximize the genetic productivity potential of modern broiler crosses, it is necessary to include microelements in diets. Organic compounds of microelements are of greatest interest to researchers. The purpose of the work was to study the effectiveness of using feed additives “Availa® Cr 1000” and “Availa® Zn 120c” in broiler diets. Birds kept in six control houses received feed in accordance with Aviagen recommendations for the Ross 308 cross. Broilers raised in five experimental houses were additionally introduced into the feed with 50 mg of organic zinc from Availa® Zn 120c and 0.3 mg of organic chromium from Availa® Cr 1000 per 1 kg of feed. The use of these feed additives in broiler diets had a positive effect on the productive qualities and safety of poultry. This is evidenced by a comparative analysis of the average values of zootechnical indicators for raising broilers in experimental poultry houses. Thus, the average daily increase in live weight of chickens in experimental poultry houses was 2.47% higher than in control ones. The yield of live weight of broilers per 1 m² of floor in experimental poultry houses was 5.01% higher than in control poultry houses. The safety of poultry in experimental poultry houses on average exceeded the control by 0.53%. Feed costs per 1 kg of increase in live weight of broilers in experimental poultry houses were 0.74% lower than in control ones. The European index of efficiency of raising broilers in experimental poultry houses exceeded the control by 3.81%. The use of various organic forms of microelements in poultry production technologies requires a deeper scientific justification, as well as subsequent extensive industrial testing and assessment of the economic efficiency of their use in broiler diets.
