Results on the influence of probiotic feed additives on the microflora of the digestive tract and on production parameters are presented. Object of the present study were Agidel-breed ducks from the moment of hatching to the end of the fattening period (50-55 days). For the experiment, two groups of one-day old ducklings were formed. The probiotic “Olin” was introduced into the diet of the experimental group birds according to the instruction with a ratio of 0.4 kg/t in the first 15 days and of 1 kg/t until the end of fattening. The ducklings of the control group were kept on a basic diet with free access to water. It has been established that probiotics have a positive effect on the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract, inhibiting the growth and reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms. Thus, bacteriological studies on the most populated by microorganisms biotopes of the digestive tract of the experimental group birds isolated Escherichia coli, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Citrobacter diversus, Enterobacter spp...
