Backgraund: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the main causes of decreased and irreversible loss of visual acuity in patients of working age. Vitreopapillary tracison syndrome (VPTS) is a variant of the course of DR, which occurs for a long time with a blurred clinical picture.
