Different insolation bag'S type effectiveness by sunflower inbred lines reproduction in seeds production process

Different types of isolation bags used for reproducing the self-pollinating sunflower lines were examined. Minimum achenes setting were observed in selfing plants under SPP isolation bags (12-105 kernels/plant), medium - under cotton and synthetic bags (148-416 and 125-413 kernels/plant, respectively). As for nylon net's bag 500-520 mkm there was maximum seed setting (223-576 kernels/plant), but it wasn't effective against sunflower pollen permeation. That's why this type of isolation bags can't be recommended for usage in the initial seeds production's process. Different reactions of lines concerning achenes setting by the self-pollination in different isolation bags are recorded.
