The article analyzes the efficiency of cooling the blades with air and steam in high-temperature gas turbines. The methods of air cooling used are given with an explanation of the process itself. Evaluation of the effectiveness of various air cooling systems for blades with the identification of the most feasible is proposed. The advantages of steam cooling over air cooling were analyzed. An assessment of the efficiency of using steam as a coolant in the cooling systems of gas turbines has been carried out.
