The effectiveness of modern insecticide against beetle with bread wheat

Cereals are one of the most important crops, as they provide a sustainable economic development. However, an important cause of harvest shortfall is the harm caused by insects and grain beetles in particular. Therefore, it is important to improve constantly the range of chemical tools to combat them. In 2011-2015 the biological effectiveness of a number of modern insecticides was evaluated in accordance with the "Guidelines for the registration tests of insecticides, miticides, molluscicides and rodenticides in agriculture" in the Rostov and Saratov regions. The high effectiveness of all drugs was proved. So Gideon application rate insecticide 0.2 l/ha showed the effectiveness at the level of 84.4-98.4% (the Saratov region) and 96.0-100% (the Rostov region). The drug Decis Expert showed the effectiveness at the level of 76.7-92.0% (0.075 l/ha) and 86.3-98.4% (0.125 l/ha) in the Saratov region. The indicator in the Rostov region was at 86.6-100% (0.075 l/ha) and 93.3-100% (0.125 l/ha). Combined insecticide Kungfu Super in 2011-2012 proved to be effective at the level of 80.5-92.9% (0.1 l/ha) and 87.6-98.5% (0.2 l/ha) in the Saratov region, 90.5-100% (0.1 l/ha) and 98.5-100% (0.2 l/ha) in the Rostov region. The second combined insecticide Dexter reduced the number of grain beetles in 2013-2014. to 75.8-96.8% (0.1 l/ha), 84.9-100% (0.2 l/ha) in the Saratov region and 93.7-100% (0.1 l/ha), 95.3-100% (0.2 l/ha). In 2014-2015. the combined preparation Klonrin was investigated. Its efficiency was at the level 71.0-91.1% (0.1 l/ha) and 80.4-96.1% (0.2 l/ha) in the Saratov region and 93.9-100% (0.1 l/ha), 96.3-100% (0.2 l/ha) in the Rostov region. Based on the obtained data the conclusion of possibility to introduce the insecticides under study into wheat protection system (assuming drug registration) was drawn. The use of the drugs will expand the range of funds struggle with grain beetles.
