Efficiency, strategy and specifics of transition to convergent edition on the example of the student media project "Regim"

This article discusses the effectiveness of convergent edition on the example of the student's media project “ReGiM”. In addition, the strategy and the specifics of the transition to this type of edition are described. The created organizational model of the convergent editorial “ReGiM” showed that if there is a centralized newsroom, a stable editorial process, qualified coordinators, the necessary multimedia equipment, you can do with a minimum number of staff members, but journalists working with convergent editors must have universal multimedia skills. With the proper organization of work and the formation of content, this allows the preparation of materials that combine the depth of newspaper journalism, video emotionality and online interactivity.
