Labor productivity in animal husbandry

One of the most important social and economic indicators of the State Program for the Development ofAgriculture is the growth rate of labor productivity. In 2025, labor productivity growth will be ensured byincreasing the index of agricultural production by 104.3% compared to 2020 and reducing the averageheadcount by 7.8%. A comprehensive analysis of the indicator of labor productivity has been carriedout and a critical assessment of the role of animal husbandry in the economy of the agricultural sectorof the Orel region has been given. To assess the level of the labor productivity and its payment inanimal husbandry, a calculation option for direct labor costs for the production of livestock products isproposed. The problem of the impact of digitalization on labor productivity is also touched upon in thearticle. It is proposed to intensify scientific research on the problem of ensuring decent and efficientwork in the agrarian economy, taking into account its sectoral features and directions of the Strategyfor the development of the agro-industrial complex; substantiate these concepts, taking into accountthe current stage of social and economic development; form methods for substantiating their targetindicators and develop a system of indicators for assessing the level of achievement.
