Sonography of the elbow joint in children in normal state and after traumas

The elbow joint is the most complex joint and it is injured most frequently in children. Diagnostics of its injuries is difficult due to anatomical as well as psycho-emotional characteristics of a child. Sonographic assessment of normal semiotics of the elbow joint and of its traumatic changes gives valuable diagnostic information making it possible to optimize surgical treatment and rehabilitation.
