Comparative diagnosis of chronic viral hepatitis B and C is mainly based on the results of virological examination and morphological examination of histological biopsy obtained from the liver. One of the simplest, fastest and most non-invasive methods for this purpose may include ultrasound examination of the hepatolienal pancreatobiliary system. Minimal, weakly expressed, moderately expressed and strongly expressed types of pathological process in the liver were studied in 80 patients of both groups. The average age of patients with CVH B was 36.0 + 9.8 years, and the duration of the disease was 3-20 years. In patients with CVH C, the average age of patients was 41.0 ± 10.5 years, and the duration of the disease was 2-15 years.
