Environmental safety as a component of the national security of the Russian Federation

The article provides a general definition of environmental safety as a component of the national security of the Russian Federation. The paper clarifies the definition of environmental safety, identifies the role and place of environmental safety in the national security system of the country, presents the main threats, as well as ways to minimize them.
