In modern conditions, it is evident that both investigative activities in all forms of existing practice and various other areas of law enforcement practice are in need of broader forensic support. This determines the problem of forming an interdisciplinary applied direction of researches in the field of predominantly forensic prevention of environmental crimes. At the same time, the need to implement forensic potential in the sphere of detecting and preventing various kinds of environmental offenses is aggravated. It is also advisable to form a national version of “environmental forensics” as a kind of interdisciplinary education, reference material, which does not pretend to invade the systematics of maternal science, but which is useful in the practice of identifying and preventing the current negative illegal environmental impact. The available foreign experience of forensic support for defecting and preventing environmental offenses has its own specifics, which is of interest to the national legal science. All this justifies the need to expand forensic support for various spheres of law enforcement, and not only criminal proceedings
