Environmental policy of enterprises in the sphere of tourism

The article deals with the implementation of environmental policy by tourism industry enterprises. Sociological tools were used to solve research problems. The purpose of the survey is to identify the main directions and activities implemented by tourism enterprises to preserve the environment, as well as to determine measures of state support in relation to the conditions of a particular region where strict environmental restrictions are applied. The questionnaire was developed by the authors based on the Google Forms service and includes four blocks of questions. In total, 57 representatives of the tourism sector of the Republic of Buryatia took part in the survey. The features and main directions of the environmental policy implemented by the tourism industry enterprises are revealed. It is shown what changes in environmental policy are taking place in the conditions of countering the spread of COVID-19, what support measures will contribute to increasing the environmental responsibility of entrepreneurs. The results obtained during the survey are additional data for the development of scientifically sound measures of state support for the greening of tourist activities in the Republic of Buryatia.
