Environmental agenda in the mass consciousness of city residents

Article presents a description of Russia's main environmental problems. Provides data on the results of the completed national project «Ecology» and the targets of the new national project «Ecological Well-Being». The concept of «environmental culture» is examined. The results of a sociological survey of residents of two cities in the Leningrad Region on their attitudes toward nature are presented. Recommendations for developing the population's environmental culture are provided.
