Ecological rationality as a category in economic theory: its essence and significance in the development of a multipolar world

This article examines the concept of rationality, namely “constructivist” and “ecological” forms of rationality and their role in the development of a new multipolar economic architecture. It is argued that typical constructivist rational approaches can no longer serve as a basis for studying the development of modern economic systems. The concept of ecological rationality has a biological nature and provides a key to understanding the processes of formation and development of a multipolar world. The article shows how geopolitical risks can be managed in the short term based on ecological rationality. The article also focuses on the interpretation of long-term system development in the current environment, considering socio-cultural factors.
