Environmental aspects of using diesel fuel for modern forest machines

Stages of development of diesel engines are analyzed. The conclusion is that diesel engines retain potential priority for forest machinery in XXI century. They can meet the strictest environmental standards if fuel with enhanced environmental characteristics.
