Ecological trial of sunflower varieties and hybrids in East-Kazakhstan region of republic of Kazakhstan

Data on yield, oil content, duration of vegetation period, incidence of diseases of the sunflower varieties and hybrids of East-Kazakhstani, Russian, Moldavian breeding, and also Syngenta and Pioneer achieved with help of ecological researches in East-Kazakstan region in Limited Liability Partnership “Experimental farm of oil crops” during the years 2009-2010. The priority of East-Kazakhstani breeding is hybrids with high yield, high oil content and small vegetation period. The disadvantage of the varieties and hybrids of all originators is the absence of immunity to the most virulent seed disease - grey rot.
