Ecological education and tourism: possible ways of integration

The article is devoted to the analysis of possible ways of development of the system of ecological education and tourism in Russia. The author explores functions of tourist activity in the system of core higher and further education, opportunities to treat tourism as a special type of activity determining a person's self development and shaping his/her ecological consciousness.
