Research of element chemical composition is needed for determination of role of environmental factors in the accumulation of chemical elements of the soils and of the plants (Matricaria chamomilla L.). The total content as well as the content of labile chemical elements forms were found to vary widely. Overall total and insoluble (in 10% hydrochloric acid) ash content and the content of chemical elements in the M. chamomilla plants were found to comply with the regulation requirements for medicinal plants.
