Ecology and patriotism: modern view, challenges, solutions

The difficult political situation in the world, the loss of national and spiritual and moral values, and the crisis of human identity are the most destructive force in society. New forms of socio-economic, political, spiritual and cultural life of modern Russian society require fundamental changes in all spheres, including in the field of ecology. In such conditions, the need has matured at all levels of government and management to ensure the restoration of the system of patriotic education as the basis of state governance. The education of patriotism is the primary task of the state. Many problems of ecological and patriotic education remain unexplored. In addition, there is no unified approach to the selection of tools and tools used in the development of ecological and patriotic attitude to nature. Patriotism, as one of their most significant enduring values, is the foundation of the state building, the ideological basis of its viability. Concern for the ecological well-being of one’s country is a manifestation of ecological patriotism, and in the current conditions it is already more than a national idea.
