Ecologization of legislation on territories with a special regime of economic activity

The article raises the question of the need for ecologizing the legislation on territories with a special regime of economic activity. The author proposes criteria for the effectiveness of the functioning of territories with a special regime of economic activity from the point of view of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on environmental protection, which make it possible to conduct a “greening test” of the legislation under study. It is concluded that the legislation on special economic zones, free economic zones, territories of priority social and economic development, zones of territorial development, the free port of Vladivostok needs to be improved in the field of protecting the environment and minimizing damage to it as a result of activities carried out within the borders of these territories.
