Ecology-adaptive particularities of the construction of the gullet some order of mammals

The correlation between food specialization of mammals and particularity of the structure of the muscular tunic of their gullet was detected. Differing velocity of the passage of the food on different area of the gullet is typical for predator. Cross-striation musculature provides speed movement food wad in upper and average division of the gullet. The smooth musculature provides slow, tonic reduction, which is not accompanied by the development of the voltage, but supports the tone of the gullet and creates the possibility of the fluent turning the food wad in belly. For rodents and pigs active moving of the food on organ is provided by the work of the filaments of cross-striation muscular fabrics.
