Ecological and geographical characteristics of the Mar-Kuel plateau ecosystems (Khabarovsk territory)

The author gives a brief description of natural conditions (relief, climate, vegetation) at one of the western Priokhotye unique objects - Mar-Kuel plateau. He notes a high role of permafrost and icing, determining the low forest cover in the territory, and arctogenic element of the flora. There is an instability of ecosystems in relation to natural and anthropogenic factors, due to climate warming.
