Ecological-economic evaluation of services of scientific-cognitive tourism on the polygon "Sarma"

For a number of years we conducted research on the development of scientific and educational tourism in two model ranges "Sarma" and "Mamai" located within the Central ecological zone of the Baikal natural territory. The Central Ecological Zone, in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Lake Baikal and its environmental zoning, has a number of restrictions on economic activity, and the most preferred form of its use is ecological tourism, the varieties of which include scientific and cognitive tourism In this work the types of scientific and educational tourism realized on the territory of the Sarma science and training ground are considered, variants of walking, car and water routes are presented. The economic estimation of the services of the scientific and educational tourism is based on the economic efficiency of these routes, as well as the potential profit from them.The profit and cost-based approaches, as well as the scoring method, are used to calculate the profit and efficiency, cognitive tourism is based on the calculation of cost parameters corresponding to quality scores assigned to the estimated routes. The economic evaluation of the services of scientific and educational tourism is understood as income, expenses and profits received from the organization of this type of tourism at the landfill, as well as calculation of the economic efficiency of each of the routes. Profit and economic efficiency are calculated on the basis of income and expenditure on the routes of scientific and educational tourism. Totally, there are thirteen routes on the range, of which ten are pedestrian, two are automobile and one is water. The economic evaluation of these routes is given in the paper.
