Ecologic-epidemiological aspects of dental caries in rural children's population (the model is rural area of the Dagestan Republic)

Prevalence of dental caries of children's population in rural area of Dagestan Republic is significant. Difference in prevalence of dental caries throughout ecologic zones (plane, foothills, mountains) is statistically insignificant. Maximum annual increment is noted at the age of children from 6 to 12 years. It is concluded that preventive measures should be concentrated in this age group.
