Economic security of a commercial bank

The banking system plays a crucial role in the modern market economy. Every change that this system undergoes affects the economy as a whole in one way or another. Proper organization of the banking system is necessary for the normal functioning of the country’s economy. Creating a stable, flexible and efficient banking infrastructure is one of the most important tasks of Russia’s economic development. At the same time, the banking sector, like other commercial enterprises, is subject to numerous threats and is therefore the most tightly regulated sector in most countries. This article reveals the essence of the economic security of the bank, clarifies the definition of the economic security of a commercial bank, identifies the main external and internal threats, and also examines the factors affecting the activities of the banking sector.
