The article deals with the standards that affect the forest effect, it is noted that the element of the economic justification of thinning is the calculation and technological maps of different methods of cutting using specific types of equipment and technology, taking into account the requirements of forestry, the main norm-forming and natural and economic factors, it is reasonable that the calculation and technological maps of thinning can be used for planning, design and economic assessment of forest management.
