Economic evaluation of vital potential losses in the Vologda region

The publication is devoted to the problem of untimely population mortality as a factor interfering with labor productivity growth and country's economic development. The article analyses the condition of the able bodied population's mortality in the Russian Federation compared with the other countries of the world. It also gives the evaluation of demographic and economic losses caused by population mortality in able-bodied age on the materials of the Vologda region.
