In the article the approaches to definition of a concept "small forms of managing in agriculture" are considered, the author's treatment of this concept is given. The small forms of managing allocated according to the State Program of development of agriculture and regulation of the agricultural production markets, raw materials and food for 2013-2020 are given. The features of each small form of managing in agriculture are revealed and analyzed. The role and a place of small forms of managing in the conditions of modern Russia are shown
