The economic essence of leasing as a banking transaction

The article is devoted to the disclosure of the concept of leasing as a complex economic category. Different definitions are given, basic signs of leasing are given, on the basis of which the author gives his own definition of the concept of leasing. Classification of types of leasing is given, their differences are shown. In addition, the article considers statistical data showing the level of leasing development in Russia.
