Economic power: issue relevance, investigation limits, main concepts and categories

The article is devoted to the phenomenon of economic power, the understanding of which is essential in today''s conditions, when there is a need to change the model of the country development. Having analyzed domestic and foreign approaches (special attention is paid to the institutional approach), the author expresses his own view point on the problem. The limits of research are identified, and the formulation of the basic concepts and categories that describe it (the problem) is suggested.
