Economic aspects of application of information systems in forwarding of goods

The authors present an economic analysis of the main aspects when applying information systems in freight forwarding. The paper describes the most common features of the assessment of wages of freight forwarders in the example of the Omsk region and outlines the main problems faced by heads of enterprises in the field of forwarding. As an example of the application of information systems, the principle of the work of the "ARM Forwarder" program, designed to calculate the wages of freight forwarders, is considered. In conclusion, the results of approbation of the proposed approach at some railway enterprises are given.
