Economic realities of the present and economic ideology of the society (to the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx)

The article studies the influence of economic schools on the concepts, principles, and methods of managing social and economic development. Marx is considered to be the first person who made economic theory to be an active force in the management of social transformation processes. The author determines Marx’s contribution to the development of the business cycle theory and the economic ideology of socialism, reveals the main political, social, innovative and economic processes which take place in modern society, proves the necessity to form a new economic ideology. The level and quality of life of the entire population is thought to be a kind of indicator of determination and person's awareness of the degree of development of the state and the effectiveness of the realized model of social development. The author identifies the problems of national wealth, capital and resources disposal, the creation of an efficient and fair economy and a model for the development of society, business cycle management and development security which keep their relevance and require in-depth study and resolution.
