Economic exercises and their contributions in forming the representations of the labor market

This study is based on the fundamental hypothesis that the choice of criteria for the effectiveness of the personnel selection system should be due to the model of the modern labor market, and not a narrow framework of technological or economic feasibility. The analysis of the history of economic doctrines in the context of ideas about the labor market. Comparative analysis allows us to form an idea of the transition from the consideration of individual characteristics of the labor market to the allocation of the labor market as a subject of independent research. Comparative analysis of individual scientific schools focuses on the study of macro-or microeconomic level of development of the economic system, their main elements, the role and scope of state regulation, the laws of the functioning of the internal labor markets. The author’s view on the formation of modern ideas about the labor market, taking into account the evolution of various economic schools. The criteria relevant to the modern labor market are highlighted. These criteria can be used in the analysis of methods of selection and evaluation of personnel. An attempt is made to identify objective aggregated and specific criteria for evaluating existing methods of personnel selection.
