The article analyzes the economic interrelationships between regions, applying an integrated approach that takes into account the flows of goods, services, capital, labor, information, and more. In addition, the article takes into account the impact of macroeconomic policy and the institutional environment on the development of interconnections between regions. The article comprehensively reveals the main aspects that determine the economic relations between the regions, and identifies their positive and potentially negative consequences for the balanced development of the territories. This allows us to consider economic relationships and pay special attention to their sustainable development. The study suggests promising areas for the development of inter-regional relations. The research topic is relevant because in modern conditions of uncertainty and sanctions, it is important to strengthen not only external economic ties, but also the interconnections within the state. It allows to reveal the possibilities of economic interaction between executive and legislative state bodies, and also contributes to the improvement of interregional policy. Special attention is paid to various types of economic ties between regions, covering all spheres of society.
