Economic approach to research of volunteering

The article is devoted to the study of volunteering (volunteering) from the perspective of an economic approach. It was revealed that in the process of volunteerism, both the individual's labor function and its social role are realized. It has been established that volunteering from the point of view of it as an economic category is characterized by the duality of the manifestation of its essence as a socio-economic category. The application of the economic approach is possible in the study of the problems of labor employment, development and functioning of the volunteer labor market.
