Экономическое бремя суицидов в Российской Федерации

Суммарные годы потерянной трудоспособной жизни вследствие суицидов (YLL) в России составили 723 на 100000 населения трудоспособного и моложе трудоспособного возраста; или 0,46% ВВП; на долю мужчин пришлось 89%. На группу лиц 15-29 лет пришлось 1008 YLL на 100000 населения, или более 30% суммарных YLL. Cуициды лидируют в ранжире бремени от смертей молодежи в связи с внешними причинами. Суммарные потери вследствие суицидов составили 145,788 млрд. руб. в 2009 году (4,6 млрд. долларов США), или 0,46% ВВП. Поэтому можно предполагать ресурсосберегающий эффект профилактических программ суицидов на национальном и региональном уровнях.
