In article various interpretations of economic space are considered. The author defines it as ensemble of social positions on which economic agents interact, making and reproducing various products and services. In economic space six main layers are allocated: 1) social positions in it; 2) corresponding patterns of activity and patterns of behavior and thinking of economic agents; 3) economic agents; 4) norms-rules (social institutes) regulating in this field of interaction of economic agents; 5) material products and services of the realized patterns; 6) spiritual products and non-material services of the realized patterns.
