Economic cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in the 21st century

The article deals with the main directions of economic integration between China and countries of ASEAN in the 21 st century. The growth of trade, investment, technological and other exchanges outrunning the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation progress, the advancement of the finance and monetary partnership as a principle means of the financial crises prevention, have become the main criteria of the collaboration. The author identifies the promising areas of the cooperation, and factors that complicates the collaboration between the parties.
